One of the best parts about living and being an Ellijay photographer, is being reminded how amazing it truly is by everyone who visits here. When you live somewhere, you get spoiled by it's beauty and seclusion. The deer become a nuisance, the views are just another mountain, and the sunsets are just always pretty.

It's truly an honor to live where people vacation though isn't it? So many times I meet people who tell me about their plans and hopes to move to Ellijay, whether it's ASAP, retirement, or even a pipe dream. Families gather here for the unique quaint towns, the summer outdoor activities, hiking and waterfalls, and fall color that just amazes you at every turn. I always try to pause and truly appreciate it all.
